After reading all these pages i have done some maths as i do not work in psi.

I dive euro 12s and fills are about 230-240 bar so 3400 psi and 101cubic feet.
I have read alot of posts saying hp tanks filled to 3600 but this would only be 250bar.
My single tank is a hp 12l and that is 300bar so 4351psi.
I coukd go out and buy a set of twin 15l 300bars and get them filled to regulation and get 9000l or 317cubic feet

21kg per tank without valves so topping out at 45kg fully assembled
Compared to my 30kg on my twin 12 euros
Still heavy but thought it would be 50+. Walk up and down n the stairs a few times and all of a sudden you don’t have to go to the gym!

tbh it is no heavier than carrying twin 12's and a 80 which I am happy on a 100m walk. Would have to split the walk up and do the twins and then walk back for the stage.

Yes there’s a common misconception in diving that twin 12s are heavy. They just aren’t.

Go to the gym and get stronger unless you’re elderly or injured.

also just looked and the LP 108's that most people are recommending come in at 39kg for a twinset so only just lighter than twin 15's 300 bar that are actually designed for the pressure

21kg per tank without valves
The 15x300 I had - and sold (good riddance; it was a beast to schlep, and I never needed that amount of gas - was stamped 24.5kg. I've always assumed that was sans valve.

Get two of those, and you're talking about an additional 7kg compared to your twinset.
