Does anyone know how to adjust the ip on the xtx100(FST) first stage? I'd like to lower it a little. Thanks.

First, you ´ll need an IP gauge to check the IP pressure.Take out the environmental cap, the hydrostatic diaphragm, and transmitter, to access the spring ajuster .With an alen key, anti clockwise, you reduce the MP

Ok, thanks. Thats what I was afraid of. Pain in the backside removing the environmental cap.

Don't use pliers to take of the cap, it will just mar it up. Get a decent c-spanner. It should not be hard to take off. If it is then it was put on too tight or there is mineral build up along the threads. Be sure not to tighten it too tight when putting it back on. It should be nice and snug, not cranked down.

the plier is not the way to go, but just have a look where we live.... and the lack of basic tools you will find easily in WallMart o elsewhere in the US.( i don´t even find´the R19 O´ring for my tank neck here.:( )

Buy tools online. You may have to wait a couple of weeks, but that's better than damage the reg.

Thanks. I'll pop into the dive shop before my next dive and try my hand at it with c-spanner.

Note, if you remove the enviro seal you to re install you need to pressurize the first stage first then put diaphragm back on while pressurized.
