Okay I know for the vast majority of you this is nothing new, but this is the first dive bag I've purchased and am shocked at how much stuff you can get into it!

I bought the Scubapro Hydros BCD and it comes with its own bag to carry stuff in, but after doing a dry run I've discovered you can't bring half of your kit with you if you use their bag.

Now I'm not really complaining as I didn't by the Hydros Pro for its carrying bag, but short of carrying your lunch it's pretty small.

So I was forced into looking for something else, and I came across the Mares Cruise Backpack Mesh Deluxe Bag. So pleased that I found it as it holds everything I need and then some!

The only thing missing in that bag (aside from water) is my weights. I figured I will just wear a weight belt until I get to the water, and then fix my BCD up properly using the integrated weight pockets.

The dive flag fits in the bag too, I just didn't take the air out of it yet.

Like I said, old news to some, super cool purchase for me! LOL....

We have two of the Mares Cruise bags and so far are very happy with them. As I mentioned elsewhere, at first I was carrying gear for two divers in my bag until I got one for my girlfriend. :)

It’s a great bag, I have one. Only thing I don’t like is it’s so popular. Was on a boat recently with 14 divers and there were at least 9 of them! Need to mark mine so I can pick it out of a crowd easily.

If you want to mark it, I highly recommend this stuff. It's awesome and sticks to ANYTHING. U-MARK IT Gear Marking Paints

We have 2 and can’t agree more! Excellent bag!

I've had a similar Mares mesh backpack type bag for 20 years. It's still in excellent shape except for the very bottom which is starting to get some holes in the fabric. An easy fix, I'd say and then another 20 years of use, no doubt!
