Jerry, look at you hand -- Five fingers ? That is about how many on this board who know of Frankie the frogman and the significance of his monumental contributions to American and Canadian diving !

Fantastic ! $500.00 !
Actually unbelievable that a simple dive patch would sell for that much .

Jerry
Do you have any details ? Who sold it ? Who bought it ? How many bids ?

Cheers from California where it all began- with Frankie

Thank you Mike
I suspect Ed's wife said enough for a scrape of old stained cloth
I now question who and where is the seller ?
There were so few in that era of diving and even fewer remining up right and most of us are in contact with each other .

I wonder if it is a widow or a son who is selling it and the other items?

Why don't you post the other items to this thread ? It would provide a glimpse into the past..

Must be getting cold back your way

Hello I will post what I have when I get done this job I’m on.In about 10 days.

Mike,-

The Frankie the Frogman Patch thread will be dried up and old news in 10 days--BUT-- It will be interesting to know who sold it and who paid over $550.00 hard earned Yankee dollars for at patch.

What price did the bidding begin ? And what increments did it advance to the terminal selling price ?

Look forward from hearing from you in ten days or sooner

Sam Miller, 111
