Not sure if mine count but I’ve started using double steel 80s. Really comfortable and super small. I’m 5’8” and perfect for me.

Not quite as small as double 50's, however they are smaller than double 120's :happywave:

I'm very tempted to get a set of twin 50s, but am unsure how often I'd actually use them. On what kind of dives are you using them down the shore?

Did someone say tiny divers?

They look about about the same size as double Al 63s. I’ve had a few strange looks on the GB. Only use for rec dives.

Howdy, Jersey neighbors. (Former Jersey girl now living in NYC.) I'm very curious what types of dives you do using tiny doubles...& why use tiny doubles? (I've never heard of those before & can't quite get my head around their use. Totally get the use of regular doubles locally as well as a single tank with a pony.)

I find tiny doubles trim better than a single, and it saves having to take regs apart to have a single tank setup and a twins setup. For solo diving it provides the required redundancy without having to sling a pony. You also get more gas than a standard Al80 at service pressure, and a lot more if you cave fill them.

Thanks. Makes sense.

Mine are HP80s. Usually fill to 3600-3700. Not exactly cave but mucho gas for two long wreck dives.
