XL may be to big, I use those and I have size 15 shoes.
Do the spring straps jam your toes into the end of the toe box at all? The Deep 6 website recommends XL for 11-13 and XXL for 13+ but does have XXL available. I wear US size 14 men's shoes and am worried about my toes getting jammed with booties on.

I have 2 pair of XL and one XXL, the XXL have ginormous foot pockets, I get excessive side to side play unless I wear thick socks, 7 mil booties combined with the compressed 3mil feet on my drysuit, the only think I like about them is they come off easily, I refer to them as my point Lobos fins.

The standard springs on the XL are way to short, they work with my drysuit with 5 mil boots because there is enough cushion to protect my toes but I actually prefer the pair with the home made bungees which offer a looser fit, I have also used Hollis springs which are longer.

I have the same problem. Shoe size 13w. XL's are a little small, causing my foot to cramp. I tried ordering 2Xl's but as lexvil says, the foot pockets in those are gigantic. Luckily, the return process was as easy as it possible could be. I wish Deep6 would release an in between size (or two).

On my last dive trip, I tried to solve the problem by adding some washers to the end of the spring straps. It worked, but now I get blisters from movement inside the foot pocket. I might try some different booties - currently using scubapro delta short 3mm.

For some reason, the foot pockets on eddy fins have been frustrating for me. The buoyancy and power of the fins keeps me trying to use them.

Check out paddleboard booties. They are wider than most dive booties, thus less side-to-side play in the foot pocket. For drysuit, I wear Altama Maritime something something something. Anyway, they're more substantial than rock boots, wear better on land, are more comfortable, and fill out the foot pocket better.

First, apologies for reviving an old thread,.. but I need sizing check for the deep 6 eddy fins. I wear scuba pro 5mm delta boots size S. my regular converse shoes are size 8-9 (size 40 EUR). barefoot length is 25cm. what are my chances of fitting a large eddy? i've seen the small one in action, it's too soft to my liking. i'm currently diving small hollis f2, which i love, but i'm looking for a stiffer fins.

Yes, we ship to Spain. No, we won't ship them free - free shipping is only to the Continental US. What size and style boot does she wear? I'll be able to tell you what size she needs. :D

For those that are out of the loop, please refer to my post in the New Website Thread here: New Website

In a nutshell, Daniel, the problems you're having is stemming from us not having our website fully functional yet. We've recently rebuilt it from the ground up and are still working out the kinks. Unfortunately, this takes time, and while many companies have the luxury to employ 20-50 people to build a website from scratch, we're not that big. We have 2 people... Landon and myself.

On the plus side, looks like our issues saved you the trouble of ordering the wrong size fins!

Best,
Bill

Wait. What? Free shipping to US?
I had to pay for shipping. That’s not good.
Will need to talk to Deep6gear after thanksgiving.

Size 40 EUR would be equivalent to size 7 US... I don't think size L would fit very well. I wear a size 9 typically and my large Eddy fins are just on the edge of being too big with 5mm booties (foot still has some lateral movement when frog kicking). They are definitely too big to use with my 2mm ankle booties. I'm almost considering picking up an orange or blue pair in SM (for use with my thin boots in warm water) but I'm not sure if I would like the more flexible material.

Yeah, the material is my biggest issue with S/M.

Finally I get a hold of someone with L eddy :D do mind helping a buddy out, is what I thought of the foot pocket measurement on the website right?

foot pocket toe to heel 9.25"
foot pocket width 4.25"

Then I can just measure my booties size. My boots on the widest part is 4.5", my main concern is just the length.

I’m also a 13. With normal/ a bit thick wetsuit boots I need the xl. With most dry suit boots I move over the an xxl.

I have both sizes and love them both. I’m heavy towards the feet so a neutral fin is a huge bonus.

the free shipping depends on when you bought and at what pricepoint. Sometimes they have been free shipping and sometimes not.

when did you buy them? PM me and I will be happy to look it up
