Weird Teric screen stripe

I purchased a new Teric for Black Friday and took it out for a pair of dives last weekend - it's a great computer.

However, today I noticed a weird vertical line running down the screen. It is not visible when the screen is off, but appears once the screen is turned on, and persists when the Teric is charging and the screen is rotated. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue?

Interestingly, the color of the line changes based on what's on the screen, and based on the color theme.

Mine does not have that. I'd be willing to be someone from Shearwater will be along shortly to tell you how to change a setting, or will have you send it back.

They have great customer service.

That could be caused by faulty memory or screen. Most electronics if they are going to fail, fail early in their life. You will probably need to have it looked at under warranty.

Send it in anyway. Intermittent problems usually points to a hardware fault.

@Kamaros: I had the exact same thing happen to me... even if the line goes away, it'll be back again later. I sent mine back to Shearwater, they replaced the computer. I'm guessing it's just one of the hazards of a shiny new product!
