You sir get a like

In the Pub I would have to light someone up while giving insight, which would be harder if the topics were limited to SCUBA.

Those are weak numbers, sir. Get you a dog avatar picture to help kick your numbers up a notch.:troll:
Or even better: a cat avatar. I'm not a cat person myself, but I realized a long time ago that cat pictures win the Internet. I still haven't figured out why, though.

I am probably among the most moderated divers on ScubaBoard. The difference is I try to self-moderate; imperfectly for sure but I try. :(

Use the delete key more than the send Post Reply button unless you believe that your message is informative.

I am too “scuba young” to have done rec.scuba. Having survived rec.paintball, I’ll go on record as appreciating the moderation.

rec.scuba was something, I remember it fondly.... on the opposite end Eddie's Diverlink which was the poster child for a KUMBAYA forum also came and went, this place is a proven survivor... why would they change?

Who ever doesn't like how it goes in here... click on the top right and most of the stalking will stop. the perceived stalking takes a bit more, but with mental fortitude it will stop too,

Mods do a pretty good job of regulating the net-do-wells. Users do a pretty decent job of calling out the occasional scuba inquisition flare ups (the curmudgeons).

The most annoying part of scubaboard is when I peruse the new articles and don’t see anything that applies to me..........and then I have to go back to the real world. I hate those times.

Well I’m not

it was something... but my memories aren't fond. FWIW, I learned what not to do from the diverlink implosion. It sure was good while it lasted.

You know, when you guys moderate a post by moving it to another forum we can no longer view the posts. I've several times gotten a notification that a post was moved, but when I click the link to see what post it was talking about, I'm told that I don't have access to see it. Therefore if you put some comment about why it was moved, we would never know.

My alerts only go back to last Thursday so I can't provide you an example. My point was simply that maybe there is a disconnect?

Do you have access to the forum they were moved to? Otherwise, please let us know when it happens again and I can go fishing for you.

No idea, it doesn't tell me where they were moved. You get a link to the post, but that link doesn't work. I'm assuming I don't.
