Looks like an Icon to me rebranded... Here is some info I found. Only big difference I can see is longer battery life (which is a good thing)
Genius
It runs Buhlmann ZH-L16C with gradient factors, that is an absolutely huge difference over running Mares RGBM!

As a recreational diver, I really don't know much about the different decompression algorithms. I am sure this is more important to the Tech diving community. So, I would not update to the Genius from my current ICON HD based on what I see in the spec. However, it is good to know that Mares has a product as good or better than my current one if it were to fail and need replacement. My hope is that it has the same size (or bigger) screen size to my Icon.

One question I have, that I can't find in the link, is how the Genius battery is recharged. I have never had a problem with the ICON charging clip but was curious if Mares went a different direction with the Genius.

Although it does not show the clip, the back of the Genius looks like it still uses a chip like connection similar to the Icon. I see two depressions in the back that might fit addition prongs on the new clip to help with alignment. But just guessing.
