Here are photos of my jacket and my late husband's. We always got a lot of attention wearing these. They are very similar, but with several significant differences.

Not something we really see this side of the Atlantic, but I think these are fantastic! You have every right to be proud of them and all they represent.

I wear my jacket whenever it is cooler here, but mainly to my dive club functions, bars in San Carlos, and on a couple cruises. I keep his in the closet where I can see it now and then. He had spilled beer down the front and it was a mess. I got mad at him and wanted to wash it, but he said he liked the "lived in" look. He was a character. Then, a few months later he suddenly gave me the jacket and asked me to wash it. He liked it clean, too. :)

I forgot to mention, we also had matching Tilley hats with similar patches. I've kept his at our house in San Carlos, and wear mine quite often, especially on dive boats.

The Canadian made Tilley hats, as you possibly have been informed, have a life time warranty- once they begin to wear ship it back to Tilley and a new one will arrive at your door steps with in a very short time -- no questions asked.

I was in Toronto Canada many years ago and stopped by "Tilley Endurables" on Don Mills Road met Alex Tilley and purchased a hat.

After several years of constant wearing in the bright California sun It began deteriorating. Packed it up , shipped it back to Tilley and a short time later a new hat arrived. I am now on my 4th Tilley hat and I suspect soon I will be on my 5th Tilley hat.

I question @Laurie S. what would Tilley think of your hats all decorated with emblems of recreational diving ? Have you sent him a picture of your hats ?

How about posting a picture of your hats on SCUBA board ?

It is April -- must be getting warm and sunny in San Carlos -wear your Tilley !

I remember when it was a style to have jackets with the dive emblems. The wearers were described as having an emblimism

Here are a couple of both of us with our hats. I'd to like to clean mine up a bit. Is there a safe way to do that? I'm keeping his the way it is. When I'm at my house in San Carlos, I put it on the printer that is on the kitchen table there. That's where he always kept it when it wasn't on his head.
