Imbedding videos in posts.

Hi, I'm looking to post a few dive videos from last week's West Palm Beach trip but not seeing a way to do it without linking directly to a social media page that has the video already on it, which would then make my personal information public. Any way to do it and remain anonymous?

in the post i think you can chose more options and there is a button to upload media. then you can insert into your post.

Thanks I'll try that. It was my understanding that if you do it that way it's not 'embedded' but let's see how it goes.

How about just uploading them to a new YouTube account? Those embed pretty well directly into the posts...

I'll try doing that. Large files cannot be uploaded to a post.

Not sure I understand... there are no files to upload, right? You are just including a link. The file stays on the Youtube server, right?

No, I meant that I intend to do it your way by making a new Youtube account, since the other poster's suggestion that I attach a file to a post will not work with large video files.

Aha! Yeah, that seems to work pretty well for me. The only issue I have ever had is if you use a soundtrack that is a commercial audio file, Youtube and Vimeo will flag it and take your video down.
