Hey there,

Sadly I have to order all my gear online and I am just beginning cold water drysuit diving. I am going to order a dui yukon 2 dry suit with size 12 booties. Should I order size XXL or XL Jet Fins to fit correctly?

Thanks!!

Are you sure you want to commit to Jets? The Hollis F1s are just as negative and have a much nicer foot pocket.

I'm size 8-9 and use XL jet fins. Get XXL. I've had both F1s and Jets. I prefer the latter, particularly for kicking backwards.

Im on 19 Dives cold water in my yukon suit and it has been great. Never have been wet while others have. Great purchase. The only item it is missing is some type of knee protection.

The overall difference in size between an XL...and an XXL is huge...nothing to do with soft foot or hard boot size...

You will end up with a suit that has so much over-bulk...that you will never be able to totally evacuate all the air out...

As an example...I own a DUI CF200 Signature suit...size LT...sized for a tall male diver in the 180/200 LB. range...an XL would be sized for a diver in the 230/250 LB. range...far too big...causing major problems due to trapped air...

DUI will sell direct...contact them...speak with Ryan Mable...he can help you with correct sizing...

Lots of pitfalls in buying dry-suits...very easy to become a victim of one or more if you're not careful...

Unlike the Yukon...my suit is custom tailored...but I'm sure Ryan can help you...

Best...

Warren
