Hey Guys, I’m going to Aruba in October for vacation with my girlfriend (non Diver). I have been looking around for some dive shops and would appreciate some recommendations. I’m looking for a shop that does not pack their boats and is willing to do some deeper and wreck dives.

Thanks in advance.

I’ve dove with JAD’s for 4 years - great people and great diving experiences with them.

There is not any wall diving or much truly deep diving in Aruba. Most of the sites are at 50-70 feet max.

However, the Renaissance Airplane wrecks are at about 85 feet, the Jane Sea at about 95 feet, and the Morning Star and Mi Dushi are at ~120 feet to the sand. The deepest I’ve been there is the Topaz wreck at ~140 feet to the sand.

Yes to the previous posts. Will point out, that unless he has changed from 10 years ago, Clive at Dive Aruba (first link in @Ontwreckdiver's post) is a one man show and will take you down, stay about 15-20 minutes, and then go back to the boat to pick you up where he thinks you'll come up, as there is a lot of drift diving.

Who did you end up using? Recommend? Looking to dive the airplanes while I'm down there.
