Hello,
My wife and I started our certification 20 years ago and had to bail out the certification because of an equipment malfunction. For all that time, I always wanted to try again but with new kids, jobs and all, we could only snorkel.
Now the kids are older, we are able to travel and have activities of our own. Yey! So we passed our certification again and are on our way to try cold waters this summer. ... And the kids are also being initiated, with the older daughter getting certified soon!
Can't wait to take a family picture at 50ft deep!
Cheers.

Welcome to ScubaBoard and congratulations on getting certified. Now the fun starts.

Welcome to the board. A lot of divers from Montreal come up river to the Prescott/Brockville area. In the summer the water is quite warm 75F so you don't have to suffer cold water.

Welcome to Scubaboard! I look forward to reading about your adventures.

Yes, I look forward to that experience, too. Likely next year.
And as I live near the River here in Montreal, it's cool to be able to dive in the same water that runs right by. I wouldn't dive here though. Way too much current.

howdy and welcome from southeast florida usa......we want to see your family portrait at 50ft when you take it..
