Yeah, weekend only but will open for parties of 8 or more during the week by reservation as Rusty Shackleford pointed out.

I could meet you at Salisbury Scuba in Granite Quarry (where you can rent some tanks) any of those days except Wednesday. Tuesday would work best for me. And actually, Salisbury Scuba is closed on Mondays but I could bring extra tanks if you'd want to dive that day and all you'd owe me is $14.00 for 2 air fills.

The American Quarry is less than a mile from there. It is a small quarry and the main diving area is only about 40 feet deep, but there are several things in it to see. It does have a pit that goes to about 65 feet, but it is dark and cold. And when I say dark, I mean you can barely see your hand in front of your face with a light shining on it. But it is also the warmest quarry in the area, but this year, that ain't saying much.

Just let me know and we'll see what we can work out.

Blue Stone Dive Resort in Thomasville is about an hour from Charlotte. It is a full service scuba facility with a lot to see in the rather large quarry.

Just when will you be in Charlotte. I live 4 miles from Blue Stone and my wife and I would be happy to join you if the time is right. We'll be out of town the week of the 4th but after that will be great.
At Bluestone this time of year do you know about what depth the thermocline begins and what's the water temp?

I haven't been there this year yet, but it is usually around 20 ft. The temp will drop from 5-8 degrees. Last I heard the surface temp is around 75°.

I’m game for whenever and wherever!!

I would be game to come as far south as Bluestone next week if we could find another six. The vis should be good on Tuesday or Wednesday after it settles a day.

Would love to meet up with you but unfortunately I'll be out of town next week.

GreggS and I are meeting at American on July 9th at 10am if anybody would like to join!

I’m still available on the 8th, 10th, and 11th if anybody needs a buddy!

Lake Norman quarry is flooded but there is still plenty of room for divers to set up. Vis, well it’s not great, but it’s quarry diving. We dive there at least once a week and your welcome to join us!

You wouldn’t happen to be going July 8, 10, or 11 would you?
I was going to post on the quarry Facebook page but was unsure which one was correct.
