During my last visit to Coz, we stayed at CM on the top floor, facing the water. It was a great room, it I didn't like facing the cruise ships and their blaring music to welcome cruisers back to the boat. The music was coming through our sliding glass doors, as well as our entrance door as the sound bounced off of the buildings behind the hotel. I also didn't like the adjoining door to the room next to us. Not much was left to the imagination.

We looked at a couple of south facing rooms. These seem a lot more appealing. Can you tell me what room numbers are south facing and do not have an adjoining room? PM me if you don't want to advertise these two rooms?

Call Jeanie at 3P. She has a good relationship with them and knows the best rooms. She has always gotten us a good room. If you pay cash it is less.

I may not be using 3P on this trip. I feel it's a little unethical to ask them for a service when I won't be using them for diving

I completely agree! If I remember we have stayed in 520,19 and 18

The last time we stayed there, we asked to see the rooms. I thought I took a picture of the door numbers of the two end units, but I can't find them on my phone. I thought they were 516 and 521. I'm going to call the hotel and see if they will tell me.

I had to think about this for a second before I understood, but then I almost spit out my Varsity frosted orange. (A little Atlanta humor for those not from Georgia).

I called the hotel with a Spanish speaking coworker. You are correct. 518, 519 and 520 are the rooms. For some reason, I was convinced there are four rooms along that side. Google Streetview proved me wrong.

For anyone that is interested, 518 and 520 have king size beds, while 519 has twin beds. I don't know if any of those three rooms have an adjoining door, though.

if 518 is completely at then end of the hallway (by the service elevator), then yes it has a door to 519. I've stayed in both 518 and 520. I don't remember 520 having a connecting door, but that was back in May 2018 when I was in that room.

Southern facing rooms 518,519 and 520 top floor from front to back. 418, 419 and 420 are below them and are also good in my opinion (better than the 4th floor delux ocean view rooms 401-404). I can't remember which ones had the adjoining option but we've never had a problem with noise from the adjoining option. A few that are often overlooked are 507,506 and 505 in that order. They are the top floor city side rooms that overlook the breakfast area. You'll hear the buffet getting set up in the AM but if you're up early anyway for breakfast who cares? Those rooms offer decent water views views out the side of the Casa to the south and the fact that they are under cover means no rain on the balconies. I will say if you don't like the room you get management is very accommodating in letting you move to another or your preferred room as soon as one or it is available. However, ya have to be willing to pack it all up again to make the move. We only did it once when we were stuck in delux ocean view room 401 that had a balcony that made you feel like you were in a closet... 501 opened up the next day and they moved us to that room (one of the 2 best in the hotel in my opinion being 501 & 504 if you're going to pay for delux ocean view).

518 and 520 can be pretty tough to get these days... Especially 518. Management seems to have started saving that room for family and friends. Last time we were there 518 was occupied for 2 or 3 weeks by a family member of one of the staff on vaca from the mainland.
