Hi there! I am getting back into diving and have all of my own gear. Any suggestions on how to clean dive gear, instead of filling up a large trash can or bath tub with water? It seems like a waste of water. I know the value of my equipment is worth the fresh water. I could possibly save the water and repurpose it for the lawn down the line. Just wondering, what other people might do .....

Next time you take a shower plug the drain in tub. The grey water is clean enough to get rid of the sea salt and dirt.

Dr Bronner’s liquid Castile soap is great for gear.

Just ask any regulator rebuilder/technician on Scubaboard how many divers save fresh water and never rinse their equipment !!! :rofl3:

hot water in the laundry trough, no other potions or lotions required and then on the garden

with eco and friendly nothing to do with it

Use the water to flush your toilet after washing your dive gear.
