Gopro one or two light setup?

hi everyone! Been diving for a while and wanted to start introducing my GoPro hero 7 black to my dives. Read around in various places about lights, trays, filter and what not... I feel like I never actually got the answer I wanted regarding light setup (tray choice will follow).
The biggest question I have is weather or not using a tray with only one light will suffice, or is the double light setup a must?
Regarding lumens I was thinking something in the 2000-2500 lumens range. My eyes fell on the sea life 2300 auto for the automatic regulations it provides. Is one of these going to be enough or not?
Also I’ve read that the hero 7 black actually does not require a red filter for diving and that either ways the light/s will take care of the color balance.

the issue isn't so much the output for the lumens but the light positioning .

Should you only use one light you will get (for a lack of better word) a "sunsent" effect where you can see the light coming from the side and casting a shadow on the other.

If you get two lights and center them both you wont get that effect.

Personally i would go with two

Any advice on which two to go for? Would 2x1500 suffice or probably look for two 2000-2500?

Depending on the diving that you do and what do you intend to video.

Generally speaking i would say 2x1500's would suffice unless you have a specific requirement for more

I don't do very detailed stuff, it's just to get better quality from my videos of wreck dive and the wildlife that I encounter. I also saw that Big Blue makes a 4200 lumen light (VL4200P) with 4 intensity selection modes, but that might be over kill if I am getting 2.

For wreck diving i would say 2x1500 is more than enough unless you plan to take surround videos, in that case you can use every lumen you can get.

If you want primarily to do closer videos or inside the wreck you dont want to get something that bright because it will be too much and over saturate your video and also potentially "blind" you
