Best Dive Island

I'm glad you decided against the Gros Piton in St. Lucia. The hike is hell, and you can get a better view from a place you can drive all the way up. Let me know if you need more information. BTW..., Superman's Flight is one of the best dive I have ever done.

Well, we are hikers and were looking for a challenge but the timing just didn't work out to do Gros Piton. Otherwise we would have done it.

Thought I had things figured out as to where I was diving on my cruise and then I talked to a Sealife rep at the dive shop I go to (annual sale with a cookout - good time!) and he told me about a dive in Barbados where you go from wreck to wreck. He said it was a pretty good dive. Did a quick search and found the following: Barbados - Exploring The Wrecks and Turtles of Carlisle Bay - Dive o'clock!

He also said to be sure and have the Mount Gay Rum while there.

I believe we did 3 of those on a dive, twice. Who did he say(shop) got all 5 in one dive? I was down there in March for 2 weeks.

The only shop he mentioned was Rogers but that didn’t necessarily mean that’s who he did the dive with. He said that cannons pointed the way between wrecks. See anything like that?

What do you think? Not possible and/or feasible? Was thinking I read (following a link from the link I posted above) that The Dive Shop LTD did a 1 tank dive at the site, but again that doesn’t mean they hit all of them. Thought from the diagram that it looked like a pretty aggressive dive to swim the distances shown in the diagram and to be able to spend time around the wrecks.

Since you were in Barbados, did you go to the caves and, if so, is that worth the time? Aside from diving, is there anything that is a highlight topside that we should see?

I did not venture out to the caves.

I only dove and mostly went out at night. A friend has a house there and it was my first time being there so I kind of stayed in or hung out during the day around the dive shop.

I went out several times at night, also went out downtown a couple of times and was shopping and hanging out.
