Anyone know what happened to Tech Diving Magazine and the Ultimate Dive Planner? The website (techdivingmag.com) directs to their Twitter account which has had nothing posted since Sept 2018. I tried contacting them through Twitter with no response...

I havent heard anything from him in a while, I only wrote a couple of articles for TDM so Im not really plugged into the magazine happenings.

Same here, wrote one article couple of years ago, was asked for a profile as author, got published and then nothing.
The email address of the editor (Asser Salama which is asser followed by the at sign and domain techdivingmag.com written like this as an antispam) did not reply to a previous email I sent asking news about the magazine and the website.

I too find it a bit strange. Asser Salma updated his book Deep Into Deco just last year in 2018, which I purchased. Its a very good comprehensive read and it references his software; Ultimate Planner. But I haven't been able to download it or purchase it from any site. Has anyone used his software? If so, how did it compare to Multideco and/or Subsurface?

That's one of the reasons I was trying to find the site. It looks more comprehensive that Subsurface (or at least more options). I'm not familiar with Multideco.

Apparently there was a free lite version of Ultimate Planner. Maybe someone with a copy can upload it so we can both take a look at it. :)

@tursiops you are a Star! Or should I say Starfish. :) Thanks for the program and link to the back issues of the magazine.

So it looks like they decided to pack it it. That's really weird since the new Deco book hasn't been out all that long.

Thanks for all the info!
