I use Diving Log 6 with my Scubapro G2. The best thing about it is that I can print a decent paper log with four dives on each page printed on both sides, that fit into a 3 ring binder.

On the negative side I find too many configuration parameters that can be changed. I accidentally changed something and got a weird screen and had trouble getting back to a usable screen. Perhaps the author should have a "go back" key to return to a stored configuration.

Also I cannot see the skin temp that the G2 logs.

I too use Dive Log 6, it works fine with my Oceanic Pro Plus 3, even if it is a bit clunky.

1. Upload dive data to Oceanic application on computer
2. Export to DL7
3. Email export files to phone
4. Import DL7 to Dive Log 6 on phone

All seems to come through just fine.

I go the other route with my Shearwater DC’s - Bluetooth to Dive Log app on my iPhone immediately after the dive and then Wi-Fi synch to Diving Log 6.0 my PC as a backup when I get back home! It’s super easy and works flawlessly!

If you mean the logbook layout function, you can always revert to the default layout by clicking the "Restore" button or by loading one of the other layouts from the layout list.

You probably mean the iOS Dive Log from More Mobile Software? Diving Log 6.0 on Windows can download the Pro Plus 3 directly and then sync the data to the iOS Dive Log, which is a bit easier. And that way you do not have to use the Oceanlog PC software.

You are correct. There is a PC application? Thanks very much. I hate the Oceanic software!

Thanks for the education Heir Divinglog. Downloaded, installed and bought the application tonight and synced my phone to the PC.

Worked wonderfully!

Yes, the PC and Android apps are actually from me. The iOS Dive Log is from More Mobile Software, but we use the same logbook format, so all apps are fully compatible. You find the PC version in my signature below.

Is it possible to download my dives from my shearwater perdix DC straight to the diving log app on my phone? I have purchased both the app and desktop software, however, when I use the android app and go to "downloader' the only manufacturer listed is "HeinrichsWeikamp".

If there is a guide you have prepared could you direct me? Thanks!

The downloader in the Android app is currently beta and supports only one Manufacturer. Right now I'm working on it to add more dive computers to it, but it still takes some time.
