Calling all Sony Shooters! We just got our hands on the new Sony RX100 VII and tested it out with the Ikelite housing for the RX100 VI! As expected, the RX100 VII fits perfectly and works with the Ikelite VI housing!!!!! Stay tuned, as we will be updating you shortly on the compatibility with the rest of the housings brands! Feel free to message us with any questions.

If used in video mode only, does the RX100VII overheat if powered on and left on standby for length of entire 1 hr dive? Thanks

also is the white balance improved any?

Since we just got our hands on the camera, we have not tested this out yet. However, based on experiences with previous compact models, there shouldn't be any overheating issues (this was more an issue with the mirrorless cameras).

A Google search on "RX100" and "overheating" yields some hits. I guess Google is unreliable.

Cheers
