Are you interested in learning how to service your own regulator? Will you be at DEMA this year? Is your favorite beverage Mountain Dew? If you've answered yes to at least two of these questions, you should consider taking the Deep 6 Service Clinic. Private and Semi-private clinics are available. If you're interested, PM or reply here! This is a great opportunity to learn how your reg works and how to properly service it. No more trusting someone else to handle your life support equipment- know it was done right, by you!

Best,
Bill

Just my luck to be on the wrong coast again. I don't suppose remote teaching is an option or that there's a Deep 6 person in the Pacific Northwest?

There isn't a Deep 6 employee in the Pacific NW, however I believe we have some affiliates out that way. Remote via online video chat is a possibility too, but it's much more complicated due to the equipment requirements... Landon or I should be able to assist you if you'd prefer that route. Alternatively, get a large enough group together and Chris, Landon, or I will be happy to fly out and hold a live clinic. ... As long as diving is also involved :)

Bill

I'd love to, Deep 6 has always been very helpful, but I've never seen Deep 6 gear except my own. I can send out feelers to see if anyone in the area is interested and if not, try to do it remote.

I am looking at purchasing a set of deep 6 regs, and was looking to learn how to service them! So I would be interested! And though I hadn’t planned to go to DEMA, is it possible for just a normal consumer to go?

DEMA is a trade show only, not a consumer show. That's also the reason why we don't have a booth at DEMA- it doesn't make sense for us, given our business model. So, yes- you can participate. Any clinic we hold will be outside of DEMA at a nearby location. :)

Perfect! What would the cost of the clinic be? and do I have to have the reg to participate?

$200 for private and semi-private. If we get 6 or more, $150 per person and I'll get a conference room to host. :)

Taking the course is usually reserved for those that own our regs (doesn't make sense to learn how to service a regulator you don't own...) That said, I'll be bringing a few sets for people to work on since most people won't need their reg serviced at the time of the clinic. (If anyone owns a Deep 6 reg that needs to be serviced and wants to do so at the clinic, they're welcome to bring it.)

Also of note- DGX's Deep 6 reg is a DGX reg- We will be working the Signature Series exclusively.

Ohh okay! Count me down as interested. I’m going to try and pick up a signature before November anyway! Once my finances settle down! Hahaha
