Downloading Teric and Perdix dives

I have been fortunate enough to obtain a Teric. I already have a Perdix AI. I'm about to go on a dive trip and do 24 - 30 dives using one as primary and the other as secondary. Can I download from both computers without really screwing my cloud logs. I've already had immense trouble getting my logs downloaded and synced between my phone and laptop. Any input is appreciated.

That’s where using a third party app is helpful.

No problem with Cloud. The dives will be shown separately and distinctly. If you sort by dive number they may be grouped by device if the two computers have different numbers of dives on them. It is probably more convenient to sort by date, in which case the two fikes for each dive will be shown together.

You can manually (on the dive computer) adjust the dive #. I’d make sure that both had the same “start” number so that they would be grouped together.

I have two computers also and prefer to treat my alternate as just that, the one I would go to IF the primary failed. I didn't find any value in downloading dives from both computers, it just clutters your log and doesn't provide any addition insight. It's also double the work, adding notes for each dive twice...

Thanks, everyone. It looks like they will download independently and separately, even with the same dive number, however, it may clutter the electronic log. Now, my decision is to decide which computer is primary and which is secondary.

I did it for a while. I had one more conservative and one a little less conservative. One benefit is it helped me to better understand what adjustments in gradient factors did during the dive and deco. Secondly I did it so that I would dive the conservative one and the less conservative one was a "it's ok to end deco now" notice in case I needed to end the dive sooner for some reason. I rarely ever chose to use the less conservative one. The only couple of times was when my wife was so cold she was ready to be done. At that point on a long deco dive, getting her out of the water and not cold probably is more beneficial than the extra deco.

Different gradients. I set primary to what I plan to dive. I set backup to less conservative, typically way less conservative. That's my OH SH*T gotta get up NOW! My tech instructor said that's the one you go to when the trigger fish bites off the tip of you finger...lol

When you are on mediatory deco profile and something happens the backup come into play. Cause if something happens the deco doesn't go away. But the less conservative backup computer gets me to the surface faster, but I can still meet deco obligation.
