What does on with a passing cat?

Play with its tail... that's what they're there for isn't it :)
Some creatures do actually enjoy a degree of friendly interaction.

I should be clear that my described 'Texas gentleman' was not nearly as aggressive as what is seen in the videos in this thread. I suspect he was simply treating the wildlife no different than he would his grandchildren or family pets. Inappropriate, probably, but outright harmful... not really.

I have no sympathy for those who tease Bison, then get medivaced to a hospital.

I'm from the land of tourist buses and roadside grizzly bears - certainly know where you're coming from on that.

Everything needs to eat - I suppose humans are unique only in that we sometimes get to choose where we place ourselves in the food chain (consciously or unconsciously).

Oh, and i bought my stick on Amazon 2 years ago. It's a very nice stick. It has yet to come on a dive with me...

Do they allow lobster sticks in the marine park?

I've never thought of playing with a cat's tail. Sounds dangerous. I'll pet one's head if it seems friendly.

Lobster sticks are for hunting lobster, in season. Leisure Pro does call them pointer sticks but that can be too easily taking a step further.

Rule number one for me and animal interactions is start as far away from the pointy ends as possible.
No matter how friendly it may seem....
Source: grew up with a cat.

Yeah, I bought it as a tank banger... then realized I hate tank bangers (and shakers, and duck calls, etc.)....
I've polled others for suggestions on alternate uses for it but the responses always sound uncomfortable.

Ok, I grew up with cattle & horses. I approach from the front to read their intent, and I dodge charging animals well. I misread one in a sale ring once, got head butted in the groin, and was out of the ring for a few minutes. Back ends frequently come with brutal surprise kicks.

I'd be afraid of surprising a cat when I grabbed a tail, and they can turn fast!

Looks like a DM at Scuba Club May have one for sale, those videos hit Facebook
I don't see that post on the Cozumel4You Facebook page anymore. I wonder if Scuba Club threatened the admin?
