Like the title says, the switch is sticking a lot these days. I didn’t move it enough while I was cleaning it my first few dives and now I appear to be paying the price. The adjustment knob still turns smoothly.

Is there anything I can do to clean this up beyond running fresh water over it and moving it a lot?

take it apart, clean it up, lube the o-ring on it, and pay better attention to it...

removing the whole air barrel assembly intact isn't too hard, and doesn't change anything with the tune....

Is there a graphic or video I could check out to make sure I do it right?

Need to make sure to always move that lever after a dive. Can try soaking in warm water for a bit if you don’t want to take them apart

On their Website, they make their service manual available to the public: Service Manual

IIRC, you have more complex toys you already play with....
Thank you! Indeed I do. Good memory.

Just want to make sure I have a good start with my equipment. It's very important to me, and anyone who I may need to share with.

I third the soaking. I was having the same problem the first summer I had my regs. Gave them a good soak and moved the selector knob, as well as the Venturi knob, a lot, which helped both. Now I make sure they get twisted during soaks and have never had a repeat problem.
