Ad revenue helps keep the lights on. One thing I would suggest is maybe put the paid supporters of this site into a special group with no ads ?
Other then that I'm pretty sure there are adblockers you can use to block then when viewing websites

I am a paid supporter as well as a user of adblocker.

I do not see ads.

Not all of us can install software on a company machine.
Ads in the middle of people's posts basically are saying their train of thought isn't important (which is BS). Without people contributing coherently here, there are no eyeballs for the ads.

Soooo. The Company doesn't object to you cruising the internet visiting ScubaBoard on company time, but do object to you installing adblock or becoming a supporter?

Seems legit.

I travel with a company computer and yes, I can surf the net and visit Scubaboard, but no, I don't have admin rights to install any software. So it actually is legit......

Agreed.....on my desktop. The ads that have just started up are on my android phone, using Chrome. I can't seem to stop them; what has changed?
