i am looking for the service procedure manual for the pilot 2nd stage. I’ve been at this for a week looking through old threads, which there is a good one in here about the o-rings, on another site asking, even the auction site. I’ll buy one even. Can someone help me out? Thanks

Regulator Savvy has detailed diagrams and discussion about the anatomy and function of the Pilot. There is no manual still extant, that I am aware of.
I can help you if you want to PM me, and we can chat about the fine points of service. I was going to write a thread about restoring a Pilot, but it's still on the to-do list.

Is your Pilot original or converted? Most Pilot's were converted to basically an AIR 1 in a Pilot body. The Pilot in this picture (thank's @Kupu ) is original. A converted Pilot has a cap on it like the AIR I to the left of it.

There is a step by step manual created by the inventor of the Pilot, Tony Christianson. Earlier this year he shared it on vintagescuba, but it soon disappeared due to technical issue with image hosting. A copy also showed up a few years ago on Ebay, so it is out there but not easy to find.

Thanks guys. Yes it’s out there, there has been a couple sold on ebay years ago. VDH has the schematics. They also have the Air1 service manual if anyone’s looking for that.
