Where are your bottom bolt snaps in relation to your valves?

Why are you not using your 5th ports?

I just adjusted the cam bands...[sorry, putting two little kids to bed at the same time lol]...the bolt snaps are 7 o'clock position on the right tank, and the 5 o'clock position on the left tank...pic in a sec.

Originally, before this thread, I did use the 5th ports, but they made a severely awful bend in my LP hoses...so, I switched them onto the ports that were the least bent...I did not want my hoses to fail after only a few dives. Let me check now with this new setup...

20191108_203335.jpg latest set up.

The last tank 2nd stage lp hose may be too long...it has a decent loop over my head...it right at 30" before the 45 degree fitting.

Yes, that would be the most logical...however, I am not logical, unfortunately :(

That, and there are no courses for SM in my area that I can find...and my budget at the moment does not allow me to travel to another state or country to do the course....so...I am on here...begging y'all for advice :D
@girlwithbigtanks is just up across the border from you in Langley BC. She could potentially do a demo/tweak day with you if you ask nicely. PS she is an instructor and dives a razor as applicable

I was watching a video by Steve Martin...and saw this:

He uses a loop in the middle of his bungees...that gets hooked around the valve nub....thoughts?

Cool, thanks rjack321! I am up in Bellingham sometimes to visit my in-laws...and we got friends up in Surrey :) My buddy, an instructor up there who helped me before online, is over on Vancouver Island...it was a yooogue bummer that I could not meet up with him for a dive in Aug :( I will PM her if she does not weigh in on here first :)

Not the manifold end, the cylinder valve handles. In your pic the left cylinder valve handle is at 5 o’clock and the right is at 7 o’clock. The left should be at 10 and the right at 2.

Ok, if I make the handles pointed out, at 10 n 2...then how do I wrap the bungees? Earlier in the thread, it was advised to not loop the bungees around the handles....

You you going to advise to use bolt snaps to run the bungees around the tank neck? I'm not a fan of that....I may have been missing something tho

Bolt snaps go on the opposite side of the tanks. They go in line with the valve opposite the hand wheels.

Use the 5th port with the tanks rigged correctly and there's no bend in the inflator/drysuit hoses.

Rig your loop bungees like the Steve Martin picture you posted. Ditch the bolt snaps on the loop bungee.

Ok, I'm trying to get what you are saying..do u have a few pics, please? If the hand wheels point out...how do the bungees go?

Then I can work on the 5th port :)

I am not using the bolt snaps on the bungees...
