They *might* admit under duress....

Just how do you plan to put Wayne under duress? Please let me me know when. I’ll bring a comfy chair and cheroot to their booth to watch.

Remember, I sold him a boat. For about 3 times what he offered.

And I do know the secret....

Okay, I did a quick scan of the Aqualung booth. As expected, the i450T replacement is now on the way, the i470TC with Bluetooth. I haven’t dug deep enough yet to know if it has anything else notable new, my appointment isn’t until Saturday.
The new Leg3nd is shipping in a couple of months. Now only 3 SKUs. Looks like just one 1st stage with a major heat exchanger, then a choice of 3 second stages. Venturi only, Venturi plus opening effort, (looks like an Apeks knob), and then the MBS as on the current LX.
New Omni BCD builds on the modular Rogue, including some common pieces. The Omni can have a jacket bladder OR a back inflate, so a diver can start with a jacket and “grow” into a back inflate. The major parts are the base, and then one of several different color kits completes including Surelock II pockets with colored handles the BCD.

Can someone check if Garmin has a Descent M2 with AI yet? Please and thank you!

Thanks @JackD342 look forward to more reports
Looks there also a new Apeks, the MTX-RC, but I don't know details yet. Also importing a few more established Apeks items such as wetnotes and DSMB.

addendum: The new MTX version adds venturi and opening effort controls, as I suspected. Haven't found specs yet to see if that improves WOB.

I’m willing to bet a clam or three that Aggressor will deny any knowledge of any fire on any boat anywhere and under any circumstance.

Yep. I received this email from them saying:

“Greetings from Aggressor Adventures.

We were just notified that there has been a change in the replacement yacht starting with charters from November 16 - Dec 31, 2019. The replacement yacht will be the Scuba Scene. The Aggressor yacht owner feels this yacht's layout is a better option and is more well suited for Aggressor guests. Please find more information by going to:

Scuba Science

The charter itinerary will stay the same. The staterooms and layout of the yacht will be comparable to the Red Sea Aggressor and the courses and rental equipment requests will be provided as requested. The chef and some of the staff from the Red Sea Aggressor will also be on board to ensure your trip will be to the Aggressor standards.”

to ensure your trip will be to the Aggressor standards.
I'd sure like to see those in writing. Like a minimum standard that all licensed, franchised, and owned boats adhere to, and also what they strive for and work toward. Shouldn't be tough, I write those goals for my employees every quarter.

Are you going to the DEMA Show 2019 in Orlando, FL? Why? Why not?

waste of money for me. Not associated with a LDS, bound to one certification agency, and don't take groups to travel, i.e. no one there has any interest in instructors like me so why waste the money?

I asked for you this am. Neither Mkll Nor AI on MKl are currently on the development schedule. They are still evaluating response to MK1.
