Every year since '05, thanks to DeputyDan and Herman.
(A addict, you 2 made of me!)
No idea, whatsoever, as to a dive count, but is that not what makes Bonaire so appealing? You punch no clock, and make your own plan. 1 dive a day, or more than 5, nobody but you makes the rules

5 times....15' on our honeymoon, 17', 18' and twice in 19'. All one week trips except for 17' which was two weeks. Spent the honeymoon at the Belafonte, every time since then has been at the Marriott....travel a lot for work, never pay for vacation lodging.

Haven't kept track but I'm guessing 30 or so trips.....

2016 Buddy dive - girl first certified, she didn't go deeper than 15 feet. Only thing I didn't like was the stairs to the room

2017 Captain Don's - with brother and dad, dove a ton that dive.

2017 Captain Don's- with family and dad - wife first certified

2018 Captain Don's-with family - over Christmas - was awesome

2018/19 Den lamen - (Maduro didn't return calls quick enough, last minute trip) - over new years - holy cow if you like Bonaire, you need to do a new year there.

2019 Captain Don's - great trip - both the girls got really comfortable at diving and dove on their own.

Going back spring break 2020, looking forward to it

I think high level the only issue I have with Bonaire, is when I take my wife and kid anywhere else they turn their nose up.

Seven trips, so far:

2004, 2005, and 2008 at Sand Dollar with Bonaire Dive & Adventure. Andre never bothered me. The fish identification and behavior class and dive with Jerry Ligon in 2008 was one of the highlights of my diving, it changed everything

2017, 2018, and twice in 2019 at Den Laman with Dive Friends. My wife has become a skilled and confident diver while diving in Bonaire. This October was the first time since 2004 that my wife, son, daughter and I have dived together. I met @drrich2 at Breeze 'n Bites on our most recent trip.

197 dives, many at Bari Reef, don't know the number. My dolphin friend, @tursiops, is even more compulsive than I am :)

Eighth trip will be in April, back to Parrotfish in Den Laman

This is the problem of home-made electronic logs. I started an Excel spreadsheet many years ago that counts how many dives in various locations, along with logging the usual. :)

I have a spreadsheet with my 1,891 dives since 1997, it includes dive location, but not specific dive site. I can tell you that I've done 312 dives at >100 ft, 1023 drift dives, 571 solo dives, and 81 light deco dives, among other things. I do have a paper log for all the dives also, it's 97 dives at Bari Reef :)

We took Jerry's class as well - It was worth twice what he charged.
One of the best classes we have ever taken.

Doing that this year...can't wait to share Bonaire with my relatively inexperienced son over New Years. What made it so special at that time of year?
