Taiwan and mainland china are two different beasts. Even though Beijing claims that Taiwan is part of the PRC and that it controls Taiwan, it really doesn't.

The he culture is way different, the government is different, the currency is different, the education is different. It's REALLY not "china".

Thank you. So now the rep says that "All Cressi Regulators are 100% made in Italy" Can anyone verify that?

The box from the MK25 I bought summer 2013 says "Made in Italy", but there's always the chance that the box was made in Italy, and not the reg.

My people make good boxes. We have to. When you are disposing of goombas who don't do what they are told to do and toss em in a land fill the box has to hold up.:D

Taiwan is basically China....
You are absolutely CORRECT in here.
Only Republic of China have the devine right to be called CHINA. It has been around since 1911. The other is just a phony one!

Absolutely!
Who give a toss what those commies in Peking proclaimed! Republic of China(Taiwan) is a indepenedent country. Period.

even if scubapro had to pay a tariff getting them out of the mainland, that would be their oem cost. does not justify a 25 percent increase at retail.

You don't get how margin works do you?

In fact if duty goes up 25% and retail price only 25% then a company is making less margin roi which is a big deal.

Many SP product have multiple production locations.

Cressi regs to my knowledge have always and only been made in Italy.
