You really want a Small Stainless Steel Bandage Scissors for removal:

Slip the blunt end of the scissors in the end of the condom and slit all the way up. Adhesive removal wipes are much more effective after the condom is opened up.
Something just seems wrong about having sharp objects that close to Richard.

That's the reason for using the small size and a decent quality polished and forged pair instead of stamped bandage scissor:

Just in case it isn't obvious, the long blunt end goes between skin and condom. Oh, and you REALLY must be able to see what you are doing. :)

going back to my oh dear lord comment.

The last time I saw a pair of scissors near a penis was my son's circumcision.

I always struggled with removing the Widebands, so I switched to the Pop-ons which have the adhesive lower on the condom. I just could never get lil' bobby all the way inside the end of the condom without adhesive ending up on my top part, so I switched to Pop-ons and now the glue is limited to the shaft. They are much easier to take off too...warm shower after diving, wait until the end after getting some soap down there, and they generally come off pain free. As is obvious in this thread, YMMV.

Yeah, there's no way anything sharp is getting near that area. I once had a "slip" while manscaping...never again.

:D

The amount of trial and error required to get the perfect combo of placement and amount of glue...

I've seen the pictures of the devices, looks like trying to stick a fly trap and your nether regions.

Don't the marines have a technique for reabsorbing pee? Seems like a useful thing on the battlefield. Someone should look into that.

Just got my first drysuit, pee valve is installed. Where is the best place to get the condom caths? And can you order individually to try several sizes or source samples somehow? Never used one...

In the past, you could contact Rochester Medical (now Bard Rochester) to get a sampler of different sizes and a measuring tool (yep!). Other than that, there are a bunch of medical supply shops online that sell them individually or in boxes (usually 30 or 100).

Thanks - sent them an email to see if they are still sampling, otherwise I'll just order a few singles and test-fit...
