Time to post my first underwater photos! Man this stuff is hard. Many of my images came out too dark. I'm guessing it's from a -2.0 exposure compensation and I"m just not getting my strobe close enough to the subject.

What Pelican Case is this. I found the BKG 1510-6 series case look very similar for $160.00

I have the Pelican 1535 Air myself with the TrekPack inserts (which was a really slick/easy way to customize the interior). It was definately a luxury purchase, but it's a tank and I have high expectations to how it performs over the years to come. Buy once, cry once sorta thing.

Ugh. Carry-on for dive gear and and drone. Now a carry-on for camera gear. Hmmm My TG-6 rig “Xmas gift” keeps getting more expensive. Luckily we get an additional carry-on allowance with a 3 years old seat ticket.

Excess baggage must be a bitch when you guys travel?
Unless you don't take any clothes lol
My carry-on is camera gear. Then I have a backpack with iPad, meds/contacts, in air entertainment, and bathing suit/t-shirt. Wife's carry-on is regulators/computers/masks and other miscellaneous items we can't live without if checked bag is delayed.

We each check a bag with clothes/BC/fins/wetsuit/booties, etc. Since we are just diving (not touring or anything), a few bathing suits and shorts/t-shirts is all we need. Dining out is purely casual.

We DID pay thru the nose when we did dive vacations where we brought kids along with family members who were doing non-diving things and nice dinners, etc. Had to pay for extra bags. Kids are in college, and don't dive, so we just leave them home - makes travel much easier

This is my setup. TG6 and PT059 housing. Two Big Blue VL4200P video lights on swivel mounts.
DIY platform which glides like a wing underwater. I can also set the platform down on the sand or other things to get stable 4K videos.
For Macro video lights are better than a strobe in my opinion as I like to take 4K macro video as well as photos.

Very nice. I am looking to build my own tray too. Is acrylic positively buoyant?

By itself almost. With camera not. Anyway as it is a gliding wing it does drops very slowly. The lights have heavy batteries but I don't feel it when holding the platform underwater.
