Most Canadians would neither want to be known as either French or 'American'. It took me a while to figure this out. I really can't decide who they dis more...

They’re American “lite.”

And I know real French who think the Québécois are barbarians.

I’m half Canadian (mom’s side with relatives in Ontario) with a large dash of French-Canadian on dad’s side.

I freely make fun of Canada. But greatly prefer them to MX. I grew up in the Detroit area. Canada was always our next door neighbor.
