Miss those Fujairah dives; but not the winter chills. Thanks for the updates and photos.

GJS, Gold Coast, Queensland
p.s. Next dive, two weeks, HMAS Brisbane in 3mm.

I did HMAS Brisbane with Sunreef Divers a few years ago and highly recommend them.

Although it was early December, water temps were 21C and I shivered in a rented 5mm.

Well 23C from surface to bottom, well and truly in drysuit season :D

The nudis seem to have disappeared over the past few weeks, but they are back with a bang this weekend on Car Cemetery 2 off Fujairah and on Inchcape 2 up at Khorfakkan.

This was the only nudi I found two weeks ago on Inchcape 10

Eubranchus sp.

LOL. I dived the HMAS Brisbane (1 Feb 20) and it very much reminded me of Inchcape 1 in poor visibility! We had about 5 m visibility and were the only boat on the wreck.

Well it's still 23C water temp, however we had flat calm seas and visibility over 5m, I could have shot wide angle on Inchcape 10 :D

However I was shooting with the new 105mm on autofocus with poor attempts at using the auto lock, next week it's back to manual as I binned over 75% of my shots.

Lots of jellies around and several people got stung during the first dive at the safety / deco stop ..... why do these critters hang around at 5-6m?

The strong odour of vinegar made the boat smell like a Scottish chip shop :rofl3:

Great shot though! Very pretty. Too bad they're painful

They hang out there because they know we hang there.

Great shots my friend. Hope you decide to come to Malta with us!

Hope you decide to come to Malta with us!

Working on that, plus SE Asia stuff is on hold for the moment. There's a good documentary on Malta on Emirates flights currently and I want to dive that Liberator plus the Ju88 and other ex-flying stuff :D

Mix of rec and tek this weekend, water temps remain at 23C from surface to 47m below.

Having some issues with my Tokina 10-17, as it has decided not to focus on anything underwater in the housing, although on the surface my test shots in the housing are sharp :banghead:

Dived with Barracuda on Inch 10 and CC2 on Friday.

Spent some time photographing this Caloria indica, needed a lot of patience as it crawled around and I spent over 15 minutes watching it and waiting for it to get into the right position.

Saturday's dive was on the Tug Boat, using XR Hub, tad pricey at AED420 for one dive (incl VAT).

Vis was reasonable but one heck of a current running during deco.

Same temps I experienced diving on Wednesday on Inch 1 and New Reef/Gunther's Wreck. 23 at the bottom of both. Saw a nice big seahorse on New Reef but alas, still no frog fish. I might be missing them as I hear they are there. What is CC2?

I love your pics of nudis. You do a heck of a job.

Yikes, that is one pricey dive. That is one dive and you brought all your own gear and gas correct? I hear great things about XR but I also know they are a bit pricey for the dives.
