No one can answer with some degree of certainty. I would recommend not to make any program in the next months, until we know better.
Of course there is no certainty.
Waiting until we know more is sometimes a good strategy, but sometimes it is not posisble, and the decision needs to be made now.
I have a group planning to go to Dominica in June, another to Bonaire in August, and a third going to Statia in October.
Deposits and some final payments are already made. Most airline tickets have been purchased.
It is not a question of deciding to wait and see before making plans. It is a question of what to do with plans already made and money already spent? Your strategy is not helpful.....

Nobody knows for sure, but we can look at Italy as being 8 weeks ahead in the epidemic timeline as compared to the middle of the US. Washington State is 4 weeks being Italy and Boston is two weeks behind Washington State. I don’t think we know anything about the Caribbean islands. Watch to see what happens in Grand Cayman. Not just the disease but the effect on the local economy. The supply chain of goods and services will really be disrupted.

Unfortunately some (many?) people are behaving like idiots. My wife's cousin and her husband have just returned from an infected cruise ship to their home. Neither are showing any symptoms nor have they been in contact with anyone who has. She had no choice but to go out for shopping on their return and now they are receiving all sorts of insults on Facebook. In order to stem this disease it is necessary for quite a large % of the population to catch it and gain immunity. It is just a case of managing the rate of infection so that health services are not overwhelmed with too many serious cases that require intensive care. There is a real risk that if "lock downs" of the population are too effective herd immunity will not take place and the whole problem will flare up again when restrictions are lifted. I have 3 dive vacations booked, all to island destinations. The countries which govern these islands have already banned flights to their mainland or airlines are stopping flights because of insufficient passenger numbers. My feeling is that scaremongering over covid 19 is going to result in an unnecessarily large amount of economic damage.

Your wife’s cousin, who should have been self isolating, could have asked others who had not just been on a cruise to do the shopping for her. Just drop the food off for her.

There will be definitely an huge economic damage, but I cannot see how this can be named "unnecessary".
Any action slowing down the spreading of infection is going to save lifes and reduces the risk that the health system crashes. Everyone should take proper actions, avoiding to do anything which increases the risk of transmission.
Stop shaking hands, bracing or kissing people. Stay at least 2m away from everyone else. Washe your hands.
Do not touch your face, mouth, eyes.
If you have any symptom or have been in contact with people having them, you should consider yourself a potential transmitter and place yourself in a prudential 15-days quarantine.

I am quite confused to whom you refer on the first sentence...

In the Philippines Metro Manila is in lock down until middle of April, that means no travel in or out of the city. Basically all internal air transportation is shut down.

Several islands have also closed to inter island travel, Cebu Island is closed and you cannot enter the island. The city of Cebu is not closed but travel is not being recommended, movie theaters etc are being closed.

Not sure about other Islands.

I have it rough, stuck in Moalboal and forced to dive as not much else to do here. However the dive operator has expressed some concern that they may be shut down for operations as people gather in close proximity on div e boats.
