Thanks to the Corona virus media scare, our Mexican Riviera cruise was cancelled for May and we just rebooked for the southern Caribbean where I haven't been in seven years. One of the stops is St. Thomas. In the past, I've used Blue Island Divers and they were great, but I understand their boat was destroyed by a hurricane and they are out of business. I would appreciate some recommendations for the other shops since I've never used them. Looking for a small group size for advanced dives where I can do my underwater photography. Thanks!

I had a good trip out of Coki Dive center, pre hurricane..... Shark feeding time at the coral world marine park was awesome.

Irma really pummeled St Thomas and St. John in 2017. I got to hear stories from friends who live there. It was brutal for months.

I've heard good things about Coki, but I'm not interested in sharks, unless they are in a natural setting. Feeding them isn't what I like to see, and I've seen it a lot. I'm a macro photographer and would like to do that. I remember the great wrecks in St. Thomas and am hoping to get back to some of them.

I worked on St T and used Red Hook. It helped they were a mile from my condo. Very happy with them. Did just get a message they have shut down temporarily. and if you are coming by cruise they are the other side of the island. Would not call the sites they frequent advanced diving, except days when there were just a couple known customers. Good luck.
