Well three dives yesterday including one on a newly found reef, which was exciting, as it produced a nudi we'd not seen in a while.
Water temps still 23C on the bottom, and 24C at 6m, but lots of green snot and jellies around that depth too.
First dive on Angels Reef was nice, but nothing of note to report apart from spotting a small mantis shrimp.
Car Cemetery 2 had a plethora of nudis, mainly Hypselodoris and Caloria sp.
Hypselodoris infucata
Hypselodoris carnae laying eggs
Hypselodoris Dolfusi
After lunch we went out again to a reef that was only discovered last week by Barracuda, and after dropping the shot line Kerstin and I dropped down to 26m and found a sea snake at the bottom, which swam off so we followed it and behold found the reef. Thanks Mr / Ms Seasnake
One of the Barracuda instructors had found a seahorse on this reef last week, but alas we could not find it. However se did find a Trapania sp, about 5mm in length feeding on one of the many large sponges on this reef.
Giving all the shutdowns with COVID-19 and social distancing this may be the last dives for a while.
