Thought it might be time to resurrect this thread now that Phil Foster Park has re-opened. I was hoping to dive at BHB today, but the three consecutive days of torrential rains will most likely make the visibility and water clarity much less than ideal. Anyone who visits the Bridge might do this community some good by posting a report about current conditions. If I do get up there, I’ll report back on this thread.

I got in a dive at the site on 5/19. I posted my update on another thread. Last week the viz was spectacular. I got in a great 1h45m dive after work and was out of the park by sunset. Reports from yesterday had the viz down to 5' which isn't at all surprising with all of the rain.

I plan to dive there again next week after work. I'll be sure and submit a dive report.

I'm also planning to go next week (weather permitting), and will be happy to post on conditions. So excited! My last trip got blown out from the hurricane offshore in Sept so I only got in the water once and vis was about four inches. I'm staying longer this trip so even if it's stirred up early next week, hopefully it will settle while I am there. Can not wait to hunt for critters!!!

As a new diver and air hog (love the avg. depth! ), BHB was/is an awesome dive! With our son working in WPB, I'm hoping to get down there later this summer or early fall and do it again.

It's a great site for new divers! Heck, it's a great site for everyone who doesn't have an insatiable need for a deep dive. LOL

It's great to learn and practice navigation skills for sure.
