I actually find your statement offensive and disrespectful, not to me, but to the people in the subject matter
Very simpel, the level of education, training, quality control and equipment of the medical care in Indonesia is much lower than for example in Singapore, Malaysia, Bangkok or the Netherlands. By the way, my slogan is: complete freedom of speech and insult. Someone can only be offended as he let it happen.

Hi DUDan,

Your point is right-on. No lock-down, isolation, or vaccine will eliminate SARS-Cov-2 from the earth. It is here forever (in terms of human existence), in one form or another.

I heard PM Jacinda Ardern speak on the topic. It was cringeworthy. I hope it was not her best day.

cheers,
m²V2
Why so sure there will not be a vaccine?

You're joking aren't you mate
Only 50% serious. Do you have any data about the number of foreigners hospitalized, were critical and survived in Indonesia? All I know tried to get to Singapore as soon as possible.

There was finally some positive rationality from Australia's Prime Minister said today...

"You can't just shut Australia up every time there's an outbreak,"

I hope people start getting the picture now

You must be out of your mind if you think every foreigner who died or nearly died in Indonesia is reported in the media. 16 million visited last year and the same amount the year before. Asking me about data on something like that does not warrant a response.

So if you're having a heart attack or stroke or unconscious with a fractured skull, you tell the ambulance to turn away from the hospital in Indonesia and go to the airport & immediately fly to Bangkok or the Netherlands?

Your point is pointless mate

Hi Indah,

I think, for the first time in known history, that humans will create a vaccine for the current form of SARS-Cov-2. We have never created a vaccine for a corona or cold virus.

However, vaccines do not eliminate a disease like corona, they help to create herd immunity, with less loss of life.

Polio is not a corona or cold virus. Different animal.

Corona and cold viruses change, morph, weaken, or because of Fells Law (SP) become less deadly.

To iterate, SARS-Cov-2 is not going away.

cheers,
m

Initially singapore provided free medical treatment for all patients with covid. The reason it stopped for non residents was the large number of mainly indonesians flying in here for treatment as they were turned away from hospitals in indonesia as they were told they only had a flu.

There was even a case of a rich indonesian flying in by private plane as he could not get treatment in indonesia.
