Could not have had a more perfect day. Water flatter than a pancake. No current. Clear sky. 70 to 80 ft viz. BEAUTIFUL! A day that makes you happy to be alive and able to dive.
Dove Xmas Tree Cave and Woody’s with Rainbow Reef (RR) op. Both reefs part of French Reef. Fantastic dives. First, let me say, contrary to Cpt Bob’s experience— I loved diving with RR!! Dove 6 dives with them. Two with Sail Fish Scuba. You cannot beat the price of RR PLUS the crew on each boat was great. Super nice. Super good. Super professional. Super safe.
Both reefs were beautiful and interesting. Saw a Caribbean reef shark, nurse shark, black grouper, huge spotted drum, tons of blennies, gobys, huge Spanish Grunt, 3 ft snook, lots of cleaning stations, two rays, tons of reef fish.
Lots of room on the boat; masks; kind and helpful crew: Cpt Dave, Zak, Serena, Jen. Really fun two dives.
Never dove with RR before this weekend, now will return every time I head to the Keys.
