What @tbone1004 is telling you above is that, no - the Atomic Comfort Swivel hose will not fit on an XStream Second. The thread connection for the comfort swivel is a direct thread-on to a standard barrel, and requires more thread length than the Jetstream valve has, even if it matched.
The good news is that you can get a reasonably good price for the hose on eBay. It'll almost cover the Omni-Swivel cost.

IP adjustment on that first stage needs to be done by a technician since it has to be taken apart to do it.

The IP on the first stage of the XStream can be adjusted without opening anything, it is important to loosen the holding screw on the side of the "spring chamber" beforehand though, I have seen too many folks just take an Allen key to the convenient adjustment point and strip out the small screw on the side.

the OP is not talking about using an Xstream, first stage. He wants to run the Xstream 2nd from an atomic first stage.

Great advice here already about the need for an OPV.. I just think this Is getting confusing for some who may not be familiar with poseidons.

1) Xstream, (or Jetsream) second stages Need to have some type of OPV to protect them from run-away intermediate pressure.
2) several ways to do this
A) poseidons first way to do this was using a proprietary hose with an integral OPV on the hose end.
B) sometime after 1992 poseidon started adding an OPV machined into their first stages
C) You can add a screw in OPV to a LP port on the first stage
D) you can use a second stage back up (octo) witH a downstream valve That will free flow in the event of run away IP
E) use one of the Omni-swivel poseidon hose adaptors with a built in OPV. **omni also make a version of this without the ball swivel for those of us who prefer to just use a 90* swivel.

this sounds a lot more complicated than it is.

Ah yes. Got lost in the discussion of old vs new Poseidon 1sts and flubbed it.
Reading is fundamental.
