Yeah. But due to the situation ali Express isnt currently an option
What situation? The Coronavirus? Not gonna easily transmit across mail.
Dang, that's not bad for the price.... I would replace the allen bolt ASAP though.... Nothing against Allen Head, but I'm guessing that they're not SS, regardless of the what the description says (or doesn't say).... better safe than sorry.
After taking this on 50+ dives in saltwater, I can definitely say that there is no sign of corrosion on the steel parts on this. The aluminum side bolts scare me a little as far as longevity go, but at that point I'll do as you mention and replace with decent bolts.

Yeah, there's no shipping from AliExpress to most of Europe. I've been waiting on my package for 3 months. And 4 packages got returned and refunded.

I use the same 3D printed model, really like it. I have a compass bungeed behind the light that I clip to in case of failure. I really need to change out the screws for butterfly nuts (so I can adjust on the fly), but it's very comfortable. I've used it on the last 12 dives or so, no issues. It almost might as well not be there.

This is what I've done
And I can unscrew them from the inside. and adjust them in a pinch.
I wanted to put these kinds of screws on the outside, but they didn't have ones in Inox, and left it like this.
I think these would work better than butterfly screws. Less entanglement.

Which plastic are you guys using for the 3D print? PLA, ABS, or other?

I used PLA but I can't remember what settings I used. I listed it in the part I linked from Thingiverse.

Whatever they were, I would use more infill, but the PLA itself has held up better than expected.

That's a shame. Over in the states, AliExpress regularly dodges import taxes and stuff. Out of a few dozen orders, a good portion of them had (intentionally) mislabeled packages. Like, "CD Cleaner" for a $80 light sort of mislabeling. And the magic they pull when UPS delivers some 4oz bottle of adhesive overseas in some thin white plastic bag, with a total cost of 2.46 or something. Man, I wish I could get domestic shipping that cheap.

It was the same like that here, but due to the virus, they stopped shipping and they only do DHL

Hopefully it all comes to normal, and I finally get my cargo dive shorts :D

So which of the two do most people recommend? And best method to attach to a DGX600? (bungee?)

I purchased one DGX600... am considering a second to have primary/backup (rec diving for now, but will eventually get a CAN for more tec diving). Is there a better light option than the DGX for less money?

I may order a D26 instead of the DGX...

Well done guys on the printed handles. Anyone want to make a few of them to sell in the US?
