Of course, you want a NORMAL holiday, so no masks, no social distance, no other limits and no quarantine. Here quarantine is strictly advised , but no law till now, so we can go as soon as there are normal flights again.
Would it be a problem for you if you would not be covered by any travel insurance?

The key to living with the virus? Less accurate tests

The problem is the PCR tests pick up traces of the coronavirus whether it is active or dead. When it is active, you care. When it is dead, you don’t. A dead virus is not contagious, so you don’t need to isolate the person involved.

It was always clear that isolating people for 14 days if they are not infectious is a costly exercise – in both economic and human terms. But we have learnt throughout the pandemic how easily contact-tracing systems can become overwhelmed. Sending contact tracers on wild goose chases, tracking down the contacts of people who are not, in fact, infectious is a huge waste of one of our scarcest resources.

IMO, if there's a shift from populist political covid policies around the world, this will be the key for a return to normal travel. I hope Indonesia starts looking for a return soon

Umm.. Anti-bodies test does essentially that.. Once there are anti bodies in the blood, means you are no longer infected then it gives u results.

Are you sure about that? Or maybe I understand you wrong. I think you can be infected and infect others while already having antibodies. This is how the rapid tests work. But they can show negative while you are infected and can transmit the virus. Or positive after you fully recovered.

Umm... there's no definitive evidence that having antibodies prevents reinfection or spreading to others. Some actively infected asymptomatic produce no detectable covid antibodies.

So why do the vast majority of covid infected already have some kind of protection, something resembling close to a level of "immunity"?
Could it be possible that people's pre-exposure to other coronaviruses help them to cope with covid? That's the emerging general consensus of the top immunologists in the world

Apologies. Anti-bodies doesn't mean that they are no longer contingent. It does mean you have had the virus at some point in time.
