12aH

Getting 130+min trigger on 3hr dives (takes 55min on the trigger to get to EOL without sight seeing).

Haven’t run it out yet, usually have 17V left on the batteries after said dive.

sold out quickly

they had another for 179 not long ago.

Not to distract from the sale on the 12Ah batteries but I thought I’d offer an anecdotal data point.

Yesterday my 9Ah batteries towed two divers with three AL80s each (myself in BM and the other in SM) for 60 minutes.

That’s a haul.

Nice. Do you recall what the remaining battery power was after the dive?

It's all about the speed setting. I can haul three people behind me at speed 3 for two hours but at speed 5 it is cut almost in half. It becomes a balancing act between conserving air and conserving battery. Fighting current can throw a new variable into the mix because you have to give it enough juice to solidly overcome the current or you waste both air and battery.

Still had two bars on the BT’s gauge while on the dive.

I ran it some more by myself and the batteries faded after about 15 minutes of 3rd gear to where there was no change in speed when switching gears. The BT gauge showed one little block and the DCB609 batteries were at one of three bars.

In spite of the impressive performance under load, I’m going to continue using the ~60 minute planned runtime and leave the total runtime as my contingency reserve.

I need to correct the range I put on my field expedient “data plate”. I put the range 4.2 km but that’s if operating to TRT. If using PRT, the range is 2.7 km. Maybe I’ll get a durable label printed off that shows everything.

Truth.
