From what I have gathered over time (I may also be completely wrong), that wing, be it Oxy, DGX, or VDH, is made in Schenectady, New York...

Subtle tweaks by each seller for their brand.

All three are excellent. I have not used the DGX one as I first had OxyCheq, and had gotten the VDH when they came out. Given a choice, supporting VDH is important to me as he really serves a niche I need to keep going.

That assumes that Dive Rite makes their nylon products themselves. You point out that Deep 6 makes the DGX regs, except they don't, IST makes the regs for Deep 6, HOG, and others including Dive Rite. It is very likely that Dive Rite, and DGX contract their nylon production to the same sewing house, as I can't imagine there are that many shops in the US with the experience needed to make this type of product.
Okay, if we’re gonna get all pedantic, I know Deep6 doesn’t “make” or “manufacture” their own regs but they “provide” or “designed” one for DGX. I also wrote Apex instead of Apeks in the other post just to save another correction.

Apeks uses proprietary dump valve, that crossed it off my list, I believe mares does too.
Apeks has a proprietary power inflator ( and hose), too. Bigger diameter.

Long time, hope you're doing well.

I would have thought the inflator could be swapped out for a generic one but guessed the dump valve cannot.
Hello Buddhasummer, everything fine here, until now, hope you are OK, too.
