I've got dozens of dives in zero visibility on wrecks

“Then you’re doing it wrong”

In a previous incarnation the OP liked to use this quote. Clue #2! :)

It was iDocSteve! Do I get a prize?

Winner, winner chicken dinner! And no, at least not from me. :)

The next clue was “you may need to get your eyes checked if you think that old guy in the mask is 29 years old”.

My thought was DD, as well.

Not even close. Dumpster would NEVER discuss a proposed dive plan. He would simply do the dive and post the video. I miss DumpsterDiver.

I have no answer to the redundancy issue. I've got the 30cf pony bottle- they do not.

So you have gas redundancy but will take your rec diver friends into a substantial overhead environment without gas redundancy for them? Really!
Oh, I understand there's a good chance everything will be fine. It's not like they're family...
Have you tested their abilities?
I only ask because of the frequency of unprepared rec divers dying in overhead environments.

So we have another thread where somebody asked for advice, feedback, opinions or what ever you want to call it and then gets defensive or mad when they get said advice. He's either doing it to get a rise out of people or can't be helped as he has gotten the advice of divers with way more experience with this type of diving and just argues it. His profile states he is a dive shop owner/employee? if he can't see this is a bad idea and it's not a troll this is not a shop I would want to use!

Speaking from experience, the advice given here is ALWAYS BRUTALLY HONEST and usually given by highly experienced and technically trained divers who sincerely care for your safety.

as frequent as this

Perhaps.

The thread is positive in that many who read the thread will have "Food For Thought" on wreck penetration planning and the almost global agreement that formal training and proper equipment is paramount for doing these type dives safely.

This is the priceless part of Scubaboard.
In depth, real time dialogue with experts in a tiny market.
Many of these threads have had a major effect on people's understanding and therefore enjoyment and safety while diving. I would bet heavily that a few threads have saved lives.
Remember kids, we play in a deadly environment.

My thanks to you, Capt Jim, Boulder John
and ALL other constructive participants.

Cheers
