Hi, Marc, I have both versions in front of me, but sadly I haven't been able to compare them in the water recently for obvious reasons. I was advised to get the Hard version first for the power its relative stiffness delivered and the blades certainly seem unyielding as I flex them now. They do seem most suitable for short high-speed sprints and would be tiring on the legs if deployed for longer distances.

My white regular Mews have a medium rigidity, much easier to flex but still stiff enough to provide sufficient thrust. I can't give an opinion on the third version, Soft Mews, as I've never tried them. The regular Mews may provide you with a reasonable compromise between stiffness and elasticity, but as I always write when I talk about fins, fin choice is a highly subjective matter and whatever will delight one user with its power, manoeuvrability, endurance and comfort is bound to be anathema to another with different swimming styles and preferences.:)

Good luck when making your selection!
