Well, as if one project, no wait, two projects, wasn't enough...guess what arrived today.

Yep, more classic chrome.

I'm currently rebuilding / upgrading 2 SP MK5's and 109 to 156's, thanks for your help couv, now my one double hose has apparently multiplied. You vintage guys warned me this would happen. I just didn't think it would be so soon. I haven't even gotten the original DAAM I rebuilt wet yet. Hopefully this week I'll get to do some trials with the first of my rebuilds.

The newest member to the classic chrome family is a slightly older Warner Ave. model as evidenced by the yoke screw being a flat screw instead of the tire model.

I haven't broken it open yet but by the looks of this one it doesn't look like it was ever under water. I'll update as these projects progress.

VDH, I'll be sending you some money soon. You too Herman.

Safe diving all.

You were warned. :)
Do you know about the LP seat holders being staked? If it has not been rebuilt from the factory, the LP seat holder nut may be staked on, It can break if you are not careful removing it. Some dive shops did this too. I can give you some tips on removing it if it is.

Herman. Thanks for the reply. Yes, you all warned me that this would happen. You also told me about the staked seat before I rebuilt the last one. I ended up going with an HPR and didn't mess with the seat holder.

I'll add some pictures when I crack this one open today.

Well, the inside is spectacular! The duckbill was even soft inside. It was rotted where the hoses we're attached but inside was soft and not goo.

As far as the staking of the seat holder goes, it's probably one of the best staking jobs I've ever seen.

I started with a Kraken (funding campaign), and got the bug to get some old ones. I had 3 before the first one got wet...

I think I have 7, maybe 8 now.... have to check boxes....

My project "to do" box.
